Every year, Acuity Inc. releases its annual company and sustainability report called the EarthLIGHT Report. Like all ESG reports, this report highlights the many ways the company is championing reforms in the three sectors of Environment, Social, and Governance. In past years, outside agencies have been responsible for designing the report; however, starting in 2023, I was tasked with concepting and creating the full report.

For the 2024 EarthLIGHT report, we were tasked with concepting the cover and designing the layout and visual language. The final cover was inspired by our circular logo as well as the shape of our Earth. The split into half circles was inspired by the idea that we all play a part in making our home planet what it is, and it is our job to sustain it. We found inspiration for the layout in editorial design. We wanted the only aesthetic to feel elevated and elegant.
