Distech Controls

The Distech Controls team approached our team in late 2019 with a request from their President and CEO to redesign their logo. They had used the same logo for almost 20 years, and many on the team felt it needed to be updated. The company was entering a new phase with the launch of its hallmark product, the ECLYPSE 2. They wanted to unveil the new logo alongside their new product.

Their goal with this new logo was to appear bold and future-focused. They wanted to set their company apart from their competitors. Our team designed over twenty options and presented six of the best. After many conversations, the group decided that a refresh of their current logo made more sense.

The final solution was a simple update to make their logo more digital-friendly. We increased the overall weight of the logo so that it maintained its legibility at smaller sizes. We brought in the lines so the logo could live better in smaller spaces. The subtle changes gave Distech Controls a more digital look for a new digital world.
